Development Process Overview
All work is estimated and a not-to-exceed amount is quoted to the client, which the client must accept (in writing, via email or snail mail), before work begins. All work is done on a development site, requiring client approval before being posted to the client's live website.
Rates
Our rates are set at $50/hour for all clients. These rates apply to all services, including but not limited to: graphic design, website development and web consulting. We do not offer maintenance packages or special rates or anything like that. We like to keep things simple.
Payment Policy
Payment is due within 30 days of receiving your project invoice. Invoices will be sent by mail unless you request an electronic copy.

Online payment options are available. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Just have your invoice number handy and visit our Online Payment Form.
Refund Policy
Generally, project fees are non-refundable. If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of your project, please contact me. If a refund is in order, a check will be mailed to your billing address and the project files will be removed from your public website. If I no longer have access to your website, then you will be responsible (at your own cost) for removing the files.

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available in the footer of every page and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected by or submitted to Defined By Eye, LLC. The types of personal information collected are strictly related to your project and your billing information, and will include:

The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself and your project only to complete and bill for that project. We do not share personal information with other parties. However, we may share project information in order to complete a project. For example, certain components such as Flash may be outsourced to an outside developer.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
Finally, we never use or share your personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above unless required to by law enforcement agencies.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
How You Can Correct Your Information
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
